Andrew Smart and David Brown first established IDC, both are native to South Carolina, proven and knowledgeable in the textile industry. They retired in 2021 with a combined 70 years of experience.

They have since sold the company to Ryan Karr, a diligent businessperson who began a career in the industry back in 2015. Even while working a full-time job, he sold fabrics and vinyl at the Barnyard Flea Market for 5 years. He worked for Dave and Andrew for 2 years before buying the company and keeps in close contact with them.
